How to maintain the cellar data on two computers

From Steve

Q: I am truly enjoying your program and the change it has meant in the management of my cellar.  One quick question - I would like to maintain the data on two computers - my office network and my laptop.  What is the best way to transfer all of the data from one to the other so that I don't lose any rack configurations, inventory or user fields, etc.

A: The easiest way to transfer the data from one computer and the other is to export your cellar to a CSV file, then RESTORE it on the other one. (Restoring the cellar allows you to copy over the user field names etc to the second PC). The steps are detailed in the help under "How do I... Transfer My Cellar To Another PC"

If you have a virtual network between the two computers, save the cellar on a shared drive, then you can access the same cellar from both PC's
