So, if I rename the wineries in Excel to match them in the winery names in Uncork, will that ensure that the detailed info of the wineries will show up if you click on any imported winery names?

Adding wines manually is actually quite fast (and easy) because of the lookup matching capability.

On the add-wine page, select the country then type a few letters of the winery name. A list of matching wines will appear on the lower part of the screen. click on the correct wine, and its details will be displayed in the upper half of the screen.

However, if you do already have a CSV file of yyour wines, of course it will be quicker to import these.

You should do any mass renames (in excel) before importing your wines.

After importing dbase from CSV can you mass rename

Hello again,

It seems  to me that building up a fairly large dbase through the user interface would be quite slow, if you import it from a CSV file, can you rename not one but several cells of the same column to be the same?

For example, can you rename the Winery from "Ridge" to "Ridge Vineyards" for not one but 10-20 bottle records in one shot? So, that the result will be such, that even the detailed information of the winery will be available for the ones  that were updated with "mass replacement" vs. adding the records bottle by bottle.

Regards,
Geza
