Thanks for the suggestion about the purchase date - that does seem to work.

As to the uncorked date, I would suggest being able to change this date as an improvement for the next version - even if it just an option to select a date when you click on the "Uncork" button (with today's date as a default choice, perhaps). If I choose a wine at random in the evening for dinner, I don't always rush to the computer to update the file until a day or two later.

You can change the "Purchased date" in the wine record but not the initial entry in the transaction log
You cannot change the date you uncorked a bottle.

To change the purchased date, click on one of the underline fields in the upper half of the screen, and select "Purchased"

You can then enter the revised date and update the record

Change dates
03/30/09 at 17:13:55

Is there a way to modify the purchase dates or uncork dates for particular wines? I find I don't always attend to the program on the same day that I make my purchases or drink them, and while being off by a day or two isn't particularly a big deal for me I wondered if there might be something I can do within the program to be accurate.

It occurs to me that I could correct the dates in the csv backup file and then re-import, but that seems more trouble than it's worth.

Any suggestions?
